The Prestige Difference: Where Professionalism
Meets Execution

Most mobile notary services treat notarization as a standalone task. Prestige treats it as a critical point in your larger workflow. One that requires accuracy, reliability, and disciplined execution. In industries where timing and compliance matter, you can't afford uncertainty, missed instructions, or inconsistent communication.

That's the gap Prestige fills. Instead of sending an independent contractor and hoping they follow through, we take ownership of the entire process. You provide the core details: who's signing, where, when, what needs to be executed, and how the completed documents should be returned. Prestige manages everything else, from coordination to execution to final delivery. Every notary is vetted, every appointment is prepared carefully, every document is reviewed for completeness, and every return follows your exact instructions

With Prestige, you're not just hiring a notary. You're securing a seamless, accountable, end-to-end outcome—one that removes delays, reduces errors, protects your workflow, and delivers the level of professionalism your clients expect and you deserve.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who travels to you—your office, home, hospital, or any agreed-upon location—to notarize your documents. Instead of working around bank hours or standing in line at a shipping store, our nationwide mobile notary network comes to you on your schedule, often the same day, and can handle complex signings with multiple signers, witnesses, and specialized documents.

  • Yes. Prestige, Inc. coordinates mobile notary services throughout the United States through our vetted nationwide network. We routinely serve major metropolitan areas, suburbs, and many rural communities. When you submit a request, we’ll confirm coverage for your exact location and timing and offer alternatives if an area is more remote or has limited availability.

We support many other document types—far too many to list here. If your document requires a notary, there is a good chance we can help. Share a general description (no sensitive details), and our team will let you know what’s possible under your state’s laws.

  • Yes. Real estate and loan signings are one of our core strengths. We work with title companies, lenders, law firms, and investors nationwide. Our mobile notaries and signing agents are experienced with:

    • Purchase and sale transactions

    • Refinances and HELOCs

    • Reverse mortgages

    • Investor closings and portfolio transactions

We also use our proprietary Notary Dash portal to streamline scheduling, status updates, and document tracking for high-volume or recurring clients.

  • In many markets, yes. Same-day and rush mobile notary appointments are often available, especially in larger metro areas. Availability depends on your location, the complexity of the signing, and how many signers/witnesses are involved. Submit your request as early as possible, and we’ll let you know the soonest realistic appointment time—sometimes within a few hours.

  • Yes. One of the biggest advantages of mobile notarization is flexibility. We routinely schedule appointments:

    • Early mornings and evenings

    • Weekends

    • Certain holidays, when available

After-hours or holiday appointments may include additional fees, which we’ll always disclose before you approve the order.

  • Pricing for mobile notary services varies based on several factors, including:

    1. Travel or mobile service fee (distance, timing, and urgency)

    2. Per-signature notarization fee (often regulated by your state)

    3. Length and complexity of the appointment (simple single-signer visits versus multi-document, multi-signer signings)

    4. Optional add-ons, such as witness fees, printing, scan-backs, and prepaid trackable shipping labels if we are arranging document return for you

We’ll provide a clear estimate for your specific request before you confirm. For recurring or enterprise clients, we can also discuss custom rate structures.

  • To schedule efficiently and avoid delays, we ask for:

    • Location of the signing (full address and setting: home, office, hospital, etc.)

    • Preferred date and time, plus any flexibility

    • Type of documents being signed (for example, real estate closing, POA, will package)

    • Full legal names of all signers (as they will appear on the documents)

    • Whether witnesses are required, and if you plan to provide them or need us to assist

    • Any special requirements, such as mobility concerns, facility access rules, language needs, or technology limitations

    • Document return instructions, including whether you will:

    • Provide a prepaid, trackable FedEx, UPS, or USPS label, or

    • Need us to provide a trackable label and add the cost to your invoice

For compliance and chain-of-custody reasons, we require trackable shipping for all document returns. We do not send original documents back via regular, untracked U.S. mail.

  • Yes, in many locations we can arrange witnesses as part of your mobile notary appointment. However, whenever possible, we strongly recommend that clients provide their own witnesses. There are two main reasons:

    1. Cost: Bringing your own witnesses is typically more cost-effective. When we supply witnesses, there are additional fees for their time, travel, and coordination.

    2. Scheduling: Each additional witness adds another schedule to coordinate. The most qualified, in-demand notaries are often booked, and asking them to recruit and align two outside witnesses for a single signing can make it significantly harder to place your order quickly.

If you cannot provide witnesses, let us know in advance. We’ll confirm whether we can supply them in your area and outline any additional costs or timing considerations.

  • Most states require a current, government-issued photo ID, such as:

    • State driver’s license or ID card

    • U.S. or foreign passport

    • Military ID

    • Permanent resident card (green card)

Exact rules vary by state. When you schedule, we’ll let you know which forms of ID are acceptable where the signing will take place, and we’ll confirm that each signer has the required identification.

  • In some cases, yes—but jail and detention facility signings require additional coordination. Most facilities have strict security protocols, and many require advance approvals or background checks before a notary can enter. Because this can be a significant burden for a single signing, we strongly encourage:

    • Counsel or the requesting party to establish contact and rapport with the facility in advance

    • Confirming the facility’s rules for outside notaries, approved ID, and document handling

    • Providing us with any required approvals, clearances, or instructions before we schedule a visit

Where a facility is not open to outside notaries, or the approval process is not completed, we may not be able to accept the assignment.

  • In many cases, yes, provided the signer can communicate directly with the notary and indicate that they understand what they are signing. To support this, we:

    • Try to match your assignment with a notary who speaks the requested language, whenever possible in that area

    • Provide access to BoostLingo, our on-demand interpreting partner, so the notary can conference in a qualified interpreter when needed and appropriate

    • Encourage clients to bring their own trusted interpreter if possible, especially for less common languages or remote locations

Because not every region has a notary who speaks every language, we cannot guarantee language-specific matches in all areas. We’ll review your request, discuss options, and help you choose the safest, most compliant way to proceed.

  • Yes, in many states we can offer remote online notarization (RON) in addition to traditional in-person mobile notarization. RON allows signers to meet with a notary over secure audio-video technology, upload identification, and sign electronically where permitted by law. When you contact us, we’ll review whether RON is allowed for your document type and in your signer’s location, or whether a mobile notary visit is the better fit.

  • Yes. If your notarized document will be used outside the United States, it may need an apostille or other authentication. Our Apostille Services team can coordinate:

    • Notarization (if needed)

    • State apostille processing

    • Federal authentications (where applicable)

Let us know that your document will be used internationally, and we’ll guide you through the process from signing to final legalization.

    • Yes. We take compliance and professionalism seriously. The notaries and signing agents we work with are:

    • Commissioned and in good standing in their state

    • Screened and, where applicable, background-checked

    • Experienced with sensitive legal, real estate, and financial documents

For law firms, title companies, lenders, and corporate clients, we can provide additional documentation about our vetting and security practices upon request.

  • We treat every assignment as confidential. For many institutional clients, we use our secure Notary Dash portal to manage orders, share instructions, and reduce the need to email sensitive information. We follow strict access controls, minimize data sharing with field notaries, and can sign NDAs or business associate agreements (BAAs) as appropriate for your practice area.

    • Yes. We work with law firms, title companies, lenders, and enterprises that require regular mobile notarization across multiple states. We can:

    • Set up standardized workflows and templates

    • Offer dedicated account support

    • Use our Notary Dash portal for centralized ordering and tracking

    • Provide reporting on volume, turnaround times, and completion rates

If you anticipate frequent or multi-state signings, let us know and we’ll discuss a scalable solution.

    • Many signing services simply match you with a notary and step out of the process. Prestige, Inc. acts as a full-service partner. We:

    • Help define your signing requirements and instructions

    • Match assignments to qualified notaries

    • Monitor status through our portal

    • Troubleshoot issues in real time

    • Support related services like apostille, RON, and witness coordination

Our goal is to protect your clients, your documents, and your reputation—not just complete a single visit.

  • We recommend scheduling as soon as you know your target signing date—especially for complex signings, multiple signers, or facilities with restricted access. That said, we know emergencies happen. If you need a last-minute or same-day appointment, submit the request and we’ll tell you what’s realistic in your area.

  • Yes. We frequently manage signings with:

    • Signers in different cities or states

    • Spouses or co-borrowers in separate locations

    • Multi-party transactions that require coordinated execution

Our team can help design the workflow, schedule each appointment, and keep you informed as each signer completes their portion.

  • It depends. In some cases, remote online notarization can be used when a U.S. notary is permitted to serve a signer physically located abroad. In others, the signer may need to visit a U.S. embassy/consulate or use local options. If you have a signer overseas, contact us with the details (country, document type, and where it will be used) and we’ll advise you on possible paths.

  • You can submit a mobile notary request through our website, reach out through our contact form, or call our team. Share the basics—location, timing, document type, and number of signers—and we’ll provide a clear quote, confirm availability, and handle the rest. For ongoing or high-volume needs, ask about setting up an account in our Notary Dash portal for faster ordering and real-time status updates.
